Marcus’s career centers upon helping clients in any industry solve their energy and water challenges.  Marcus works to identify new opportunities for growth in these spaces and others to enable his clients to accelerate their path to commercial success. Marcus started his career as a scientific diver in the United States Arctic research program and over the past 15 years have moved from academic research through industrial research and technology commercialization into business development and strategy consulting.  

As an innovation and strategy consultant, I have a classic T-shaped skills profile. Building upon a strong technical knowledge base and keen interest in technology development, my core engagements today span the oil, gas, power, bioenergy, renewables, water, wastewater and environmental service sectors.  Marcus also supports the successful development and commercialization of intellectual property.

Marcus lives just south of Boston, Massachusetts with his wife and children.  Marcus earned both a B.Sc and M.Sc in Environmental Chemistry and Marine Science at Bangor University in Wales.
