Dave has been a senior technology executive in the building materials business with GreenFiber LLC for over 12 years.  Prior to that, he held a variety of sales, marketing and development positions in specialty chemicals and materials businesses.  Holder of eight patents in multiple art fields, Dave has extensive, successful and profitable experience managing teams in activities ranging from early stage ideation through to full scale sales and commercialization.  Dave also has extensive experience in quality control, intellectual property, and product liability.  

Dave believes strongly in driving new products profitably from the beginning. Advancing technology to maximize enterprise value, whether for a new product, a process improvement, or a new market, takes a disciplined, systematic approach. The effort’s core is engaging and transforming the team so that they collectively buy into the mission. A win-win can then occur by developing partnerships with customers to pull them into the company’s team through value creation for the customer’s needs.

Dave currently lives in the Bay Area with his wife Melissa and their children Gant and Hayley.  Dave holds an honors degree in chemistry from Davidson College, an MS in Biochemistry from Wake Forest University, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
