Corinne Young is a collaborative change agent with over 20 years of deal-making success within renewable chemicals as well as environmental technology and government initiatives.  Corinne provides competitive advantage in structuring and securing strategic funding and partnerships for access to capital and speed to market, securing tens of millions in government funding alone for her clients. During ten years on Capitol Hill in the Senate (Sen. Kennedy) and House, and Executive Office of the President/OMB, Corinne garnered a reputation as a nimble and effective problem solver, bridging partisan divides to get the job done, including seminal bioindustry programs.

A fierce and longtime advocate for renewable chemicals, Corinne is a global spokesperson having represented 5 Presidential EPA Green Chemistry Award Winners, and currently serves as C-Level adviser, and opinion leading on multiple boards, including Biobased World News and LAUNCH, and is special contributor to Biofuels Digest.

Regarding fundraising by example for Myriant Technologies, Corinne secured a historic $50M DOE grant, as well as a $65M tax-exempt bond financing package and over $20M in PA funds as part of a $270M biorefinery project finance. In government, Corinne was a chief broker of RFS2, and spearheaded biochemical/bioproduct incentives in EPA 2005, EISA 2007, Farm Bill 2008, ARRA 2009, and the White House’s 2012 BioEconomy Blueprint and Advanced Manufacturing Initiatives.

Corinne has an MPA from Cornell and a BS in Political Science from Bridgewater State.   Corinne lives in the Boston region proudly raising her two daughters, Alia, and Arden Young.
